It’s been a little more than a year since the popular CD Baby music streaming service announced it was shutting down its doors. The company has not given any indication as to why it is closing, but some insiders say that the company may have run into financial difficulties. CD Baby was founded in 2007 by two entrepreneurs, Justin Kan and Nathan Sawaya. The company was initially just a music streaming service, but quickly became popular for its user-friendly interface and wide selection of songs. Since its closure, CD Baby has been replaced by Spotify and Apple Music.
