If you’re like most people, you probably use Photoshop to edit photos and graphics. But what if you want to see what’s inside a photo—like whether there’s a hidden object inside it? To do this, you can use X-ray mode in Photoshop. Here’s how:

  1. Open the photo you want to inspect.
  2. Select the layer containing the image content you want to view. (You can also select multiple layers if you want.)
  3. In the Layer menu, click on the X-Ray icon ( ). 4. In the X-Ray window that opens, select which area of the image you want to view: foreground, middle ground or background.
