If you’re like most drivers, you probably rely on your car’s audio system to keep you entertained while on the road. But what if something goes wrong? What if your battery dies, and you can’t listen to your favorite tunes? Luckily, there’s a simple solution: wire a second battery into your car audio system. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Start by removing the original battery from your car audio system. If it’s a standard 12-volt battery, simply unscrew the cap and remove it. If your car has a more advanced electrical system, or if the battery is hidden behind something else, consult your owner’s manual for instructions.
  2. Next, find an appropriate power source for your new battery. You can use an AC adapter or a DC power supply (sold separately). Make sure that the voltage is compatible with the voltage of your original battery (12 volts in North America; some other countries use different voltages).
  3. Connect the positive (+) terminal of the new battery to the positive (+) terminal of the original battery, and connect the negative (-) terminal of the new battery to the negative (-) terminal of the original battery. Make sure that all connections are tight!
  4. Connect one end of a wire cable to each connector on either side of your audio system (or head unit), and plug in your speakers or headphones (if applicable). Now you’re ready to enjoy all of your music without fear of running out of juice! ..
