Discord is a voice and text chat app for gamers that lets you easily find, join, and chat with friends. It’s free, secure, and works on both your desktop and phone. To use Discord on your PS4, first make sure you have the app installed. Then open the PlayStation App and sign in. On the main menu, select “Friends” and add your Discord account information. You can also find Discord on the PlayStation Store under “Social Networking”. Once you’ve added your Discord account information, open the “Settings” menu in the PlayStation App and select “Account Settings”. In this menu, you can set up your PS4 to automatically join channels when you sign in or start playing games. You can also choose to disable notifications for channels you don’t want to see (like spoilers for movies or TV shows). To use Discord while gaming on your PS4, open the game launcher (the icon that looks like a triangle with a plus sign inside it) and select “Options”.
