There are a few things you need to know in order to turn a sketch into lineart in Photoshop. First, make sure that your sketch is properly saved as a PNG file. Next, make sure that the layer mask is set to “overlay.” Finally, use the following commands to create the lineart: Line Art:
- Choose File > New > Line Art. This will create a new lineart layer on top of your original sketch.
- Type in a few basic lines of text and press OK.
- Use the following commands to change the color and opacity of your lineart: Line Art with Color:
- Choose File > New > Line Art With Color. This will add color to your lineart while preserving its opacity.
- Type in some basic text and press OK again.
- Use the following commands to change the opacity of your lineart: Line Art With Opacity:
- Choose File > New > Line Art With Opacity and set its opacity to 100%. This will make your lineart completely transparent (no color will be added).
