There are a few ways to tint in Photoshop, but the most common is to use the Hue/Saturation tool. To tint in Hue/Saturation, click on the hue slider at the bottom of the tool palette and then drag it up or down to change how light or dark a color is. To tint in saturation, click on the saturation slider at the bottom of the tool palette and then drag it up or down to change how bright or dark a color is.
