When photographing the stars in the night sky, it is important to stack images so that each image is on top of the other. This will help to create a smooth, even image. To stack images in Photoshop, use the following steps:
- Choose an image to stack from the photo library.
- Choose a layer and name it “stack.”
- On the layer’s properties panel, set its opacity to 100%.
- Drag one of the images off of the photo library and place it on top of “stack.” The image should be placed so that its bottom edge is facing down on “stack.” The top edge of “stack” should be facing up on “image.”
