There are a few ways to soften an image in Photoshop, but the easiest is to use the Blur tool. To do this, first select the area you want to soften and then click on the Blur tool (located in the toolbar at the top of the screen). To adjust the amount of blur, simply drag your cursor over the area you want to soften and release it when you have reached your desired level of blur. If you want to add more blur to an already blurred area, simply hold down Ctrl (PC) or Command (Mac) and drag your cursor over the area again. If you want to restore an image’s original hardness, then you can use the Sharpen tool. To do this, first select the area you want to sharpen and then click on the Sharpen tool.
