If you’re like most people, you probably have a few skin problems that you’ve been trying to fix with various products and techniques. But if you’re like me, your skin is always in a state of flux - it’s oily one day, dry the next. So how do you keep your skin looking good without constantly using products? One solution is to use Photoshop to smooth out your skin. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to do just that - using the latest version of Photoshop CS6. First things first: let’s take a look at the image we’ll be working with. It’s a screenshot of my own skin, taken right before I applied some makeup. You can see that my skin is pretty blotchy and uneven - especially around my eyes and mouth. Now let’s start by opening up Photoshop CS6 and creating a new document (File > New > Document). We’ll want to size our document so that it’s about 600 pixels wide by 800 pixels high (or whatever size is appropriate for your image). We can also set the resolution to 72 dpi if we want (although we won’t need to worry about that later on). Next, we’ll want to start working on our layers. First, we’ll create a new layer called “Smoothing.” Then, we’ll select all of the layers in our document and click on the “Smoothing” layer in order to select it as our active layer.
