When you want to select a part of an image in Photoshop, you can use the selection tools or the eyedropper. The selection tools are located at the bottom of the Photoshop window. The eyedropper is located at the top of the window. To select a part of an image using the selection tools, follow these steps:

  1. Choose one of the images in your document and click on it to open its contents in a new window.
  2. In the new window, click on the left mouse button and drag your cursor over one of the image’s edges. This will create a selection around that edge.
  3. To make sure that your selection is complete, release your mouse button and then drag your cursor back to where you started (the edge where you dragged). You should now have a complete selection around that edge.
  4. To remove any selections that have been made, click on one of the ends of your Selection tool and then press Esc (Esc).
