In Photoshop CS6, there are a few ways to resize a layer. The easiest way is to use the layer mask. To do this, click on the layer mask thumbnail in the Layers palette, and then drag it to a different location on the canvas. You can also resize the layer using the following methods:

  • By dragging its size slider to change its size.
  • By pressing and holding down the left mouse button and then dragging its size slider to change its size.
  • By pressing and holding down the right mouse button and then dragging its size slider to change its size.
