If you want to resize a layer in Photoshop CC, there are a few different ways to go about it. You can use the Layer menu, the Transform tool, or the Free Transform tool. Here’s how each one works: Layer Menu: To resize a layer using the Layer Menu, first select the layer you want to resize and then click on the Layer Menu button ( located in the top left corner of the Layers panel). The Layer Menu will appear with several options available, including Resize. Click on Resize and a dialog box will appear with several options available. The first option is Width which allows you to specify how much width you want to add or remove from the current width of the layer. The next option is Height which allows you to specify how much height you want to add or remove from the current height of the layer. The last option is Copy which allows you to copy the contents of this layer onto another location on your computer. Transform Tool: To resize a layer using the Transform Tool, first select the layer you want to resize and then click on either of its two handles ( located at either end of its thumbnail). Then drag one of these handles up or down until you have resized the layer as desired. Be sure not to drag either handle too far away from either end of its thumbnail or else your changes will be lost! Free Transform Tool: To resize a layer using the Free Transform Tool, first select it and then click on either of its two handles ( located at either end of its thumbnail). Then drag one of these handles left or right until you have resized the layer as desired. Be sure not to drag either handle too far away from either end of its thumbnail or else your changes will be lost! ..
