If you’re ever having trouble getting your Pioneer car stereo to work, it might be because it’s been reset. Here’s how to do it:
- Open the car door and remove the battery cover.
- Look inside the car for a Phillips head screwdriver or other small tool that can be used to remove the screws that hold the car stereo in place (4 screws on each side of the stereo).
- Remove the screws and set aside any old components.
- Install a new battery cover and screw in place (4 screws on each side of the cover).
- Replace all of the screws that were removed from the stereo before installing the new cover (2 on top and 2 on bottom).
