If your car has an auxiliary jack, it can be a hassle to replace it. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Park your car in a safe place.
  2. Remove the front wheel and tire.
  3. Remove the front bumper cover by unscrewing the four screws at the top and bottom of the cover.
  4. Remove the two screws at the base of the auxiliary jack and remove it from its bracket.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the auxiliary jack by unscrewing its two screws on either side of its housing.
  6. Clean all debris from around the auxiliary jack and bracket, then reattach them using new screws and connectors if necessary.
  7. Replace the front wheel, tire, bumper cover, and electrical connector, then drive your car back to where you parked it! ..
