If your car has an auxiliary jack, it can be a hassle to replace it. Here’s how to do it:
- Park your car in a safe place.
- Remove the front wheel and tire.
- Remove the front bumper cover by unscrewing the four screws at the top and bottom of the cover.
- Remove the two screws at the base of the auxiliary jack and remove it from its bracket.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the auxiliary jack by unscrewing its two screws on either side of its housing.
- Clean all debris from around the auxiliary jack and bracket, then reattach them using new screws and connectors if necessary.
- Replace the front wheel, tire, bumper cover, and electrical connector, then drive your car back to where you parked it! ..
