If you’re ever going to remove super glue from a car, it’s best to do it the old-fashioned way: with a plunger. Not only is this more efficient, but it also doesn’t damage the paint. Here’s how:

  1. Remove any excess super glue from the plunger by using circular motions and pulling back and forth.
  2. Pour a small amount of water onto the plunger and place it over the glued area.
  3. Use your other hand to push and pull on the plunger until all of the water has been used up.
  4. Let the plunger sit for a few minutes so that all of the liquid has dissipated (it should now be clear).
  5. Remove the plunger by using a paper towel to dry off the area where super glue was applied (be sure not to get any of it on your hands!).
