If you have a Graco Click Connect car seat, it’s important to remove the base. Doing so will make it easier to remove the seat from the car. To remove the base, first unscrew the screws on top of the seat. Then use a Phillips screwdriver to pry off the top of the base. Be careful not to damage or scratch the car seat. Now remove the old base and replace it with the new one. Be sure to screw in both bases firmly into place before re-attaching everything else.
