If you have a car window tinted, it’s important to remove the glue that holds the tint in place. This article will show you how to do this without having to go through the hassle of taking your car in for a repair.

  1. Start by removing all of the adhesive from around the window. This can be done by using a plunger or a vacuum cleaner.
  2. Once all of the adhesive has been removed, use a razor blade to cut through the tinted glass. Be careful not to cut into the plastic frame beneath the window.
  3. Once all of the glass has been cut away, use a vacuum cleaner and bucket to suck up any remaining adhesive and glue that has built up on top of the glass. Be sure not to damage or remove any of the plastic frame beneath your window!
