If you’re like most drivers, you probably don’t think much about your car’s stereo. But if your car doesn’t have a stereo, or if it’s broken, you may want to get it fixed. Here are some tips on how to remove a car stereo:

  1. Remove the screws that hold the stereo in place. You’ll need a Phillips screwdriver for this step.
  2. Lift the stereo out of the car and set it aside.
  3. If your car has an AUX input, connect your audio source (like an MP3 player) to the AUX input and plug it into the back of the new stereo. If your car doesn’t have an AUX input, you can use a cable to connect your audio source to the front of the new stereo.
  4. Replace any screws that were removed in step 1 and re-attach the stereo to the dashboard or door panel using those screws. Be sure to tighten them evenly so that there’s no rattling or vibration when you drive! ..
