Removing a radio from a car is not as difficult as it seems. There are a few steps that you can take to make the process easier.

  1. Remove the screws that hold the radio to the car.
  2. Pry the top of the radio off of its stand.
  3. Remove the screws that hold the antenna to the top of the radio.
  4. Remove any wires that are connected to the antenna and remove them too.
  5. Place all of these components on a surface or in a bag so that they can be stored until needed again.
