You will also need some electrical tape and wire cutters. The next step is to remove the battery cover on the RC car. This cover is usually held on with two screws. Once it is removed, use the screwdriver to unscrew the two screws that hold it in place. Be careful not to lose the screws! Next, use the pliers to remove the wires that are connected to the battery. Make sure that you disconnect all of the wires from the battery before removing it from the car. If there are any loose wires, be sure to tuck them away so they don’t get tangled up while you are working on the car. Once all of the wires have been disconnected, use the wrench to tighten up all of the screws that were removed earlier.
