Gradient text is a great way to add a bit of interest and variation to your designs. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to create gradient text in Photoshop using a variety of techniques. First, let’s start by creating a new document in Photoshop. We’ll use the default settings, so make sure that your document size is set to 600px by 300px. Next, we’ll want to create our gradient background. To do this, we’ll first select the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) and draw a rectangle around the outside of our document. Make sure that your gradient background is set to the Foreground color (#000000), and then click on the Gradient Tool (G) in the toolbar to start creating our gradient. To control the intensity of our gradient, we’ll first need to adjust its opacity. To do this, simply drag the opacity slider up or down until you’re happy with the results. Now that we’ve created our gradient background, it’s time to add our gradient text! To do this, we’ll first select the Text Tool (T) and enter some text into your document. Once you’ve entered your text, it’s time to start creating our gradient! To do this, simply select one of your text layers and click on the Gradient Tool (G) in the toolbar. Then, drag out a new Gradient layer from the Layer palette and adjust its properties as needed. Finally, it’s time to add some finishing touches to our design! We can add some extra brightness and contrast by adjusting both the Brightness and Contrast sliders in Photoshop’s Adjustments panel. And if you want to make sure that all of your gradients are visible at once, you can use Photoshop’s Show All Layers option at any time! ..
