There are a few steps you can take to make a pie chart in Illustrator. The first step is to create a new layer and name it “Chart”. Next, select the Rectangle tool and draw a rectangle that is twice the size of your chart’s width. This will be your data area. Next, select the Line tool and draw a line from one corner of your data area to the other corner. This will be your line of division. Finally, use the Polygonal tool to create a polygon around each corner of your data area. This will give your chart its final look.
