Making a paper race car is a fun and easy project that can be done with just a few supplies. Here are the steps:
- Start by cutting out a circle template from some heavy paper. You can use any size you want, but make sure the circle is big enough to fit your car body on top of it.
- Trace the template onto the paper and cut out the circle. Make sure to leave enough space around the edge of the template so you can fold it over once you’ve cut it out.
- Next, start folding up one side of the template until it’s about an inch from the edge of the paper circle. Then fold up the other side of the template so that it covers up most of what was folded in step 2. Now crease these two folds carefully so that they line up perfectly when you’re finished folding them up.
- Finally, place your car body on top of the folded-over template and trace around it with a pencil or pen (be careful not to go too close to any sharp edges). Cut out around your traced outline with scissors, then unfold and remove your car body! ..
