Favicons are icons that represent favorite websites or applications. They can be used to represent a website or application in a web browser, or as the icon for an application in an app store. To make a Favicon, you’ll need Photoshop and some basic graphics skills. Here’s how:

  1. Choose the right fontface for your Favicon. A good fontface for Favicons is Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif, or Verdana. If you’re using a web browser, make sure to use a font that is widely supported by your browser (like Chrome). If you’re using an app store, choose a font that is popular and well-supported by your app store (like Apple’s iOS App Store).
  2. In Photoshop, create a new document called “Favicon.” This document will contain all of the information needed to create a Favicon: name, typeface, size, and color. You can also add any other information you want about your Favicon— like images or text— but we recommend leaving these details out until later when you create the actual favicon file itself.
  3. In the “Name” field of the “Favicon” document’s “Name” field, enter “favicons/www.” This will give you the name of your Favicon file in our online favicons database (which we’ll update regularly). You can also use this name to refer to this document throughout your work— for example, if you want to reference it when creating favicons for other websites or applications.
  4. In the “Typeface” field of the “Favicon” document’s “Typeface” field, enter “Arial.” This will give you the default typeface for all future Favicons created in this document— so make sure it’s set as your default typeface when creating new Favicons! If you don’t have an
