There are a few things you need to know in order to make a brush stroke in Illustrator. First, you need to create a new layer and name it " Brushes “. Next, you need to select the Brush tool and click on the white line at the bottom of the canvas. Then, drag the black line up towards the top of the canvas. Finally, release your mouse button and release the black line. You should now have a brush that looks like this: Now that you have your brush set up, it’s time to start drawing! To start drawing, click on one of your lines and drag it towards the right or left edge of your canvas. You can also use arrow keys to move your brush around. When you’re happy with your brushstrokes, press OK and save them as a file.
