In order to use brushes in Illustrator, you first need to install the brush library. To do so, open the File menu and select “Open With…” then select " brush library." Once the brush library is open, click on the “Brushes” tab and then click on the “Install” button. Once installed, you will see a new Brushes window in your Illustrator window. In this window, you will see a list of all of the brushes that have been installed. To use a brush, simply drag it into an empty space in your document and then click on the “Use” button to start using it.
