If you’re looking for a way to make your car more accessible, keyless entry is a great option. Not only does this make it easier to get in and out of your car, but it can also save you time and money. Here’s how to install a keyless entry car:
- First, find the keyless entry code that corresponds to your car. This code will be on the doorjamb or elsewhere on your car.
- Open the door of your car and insert the keyless entry code into the ignition switch. The code should start automatically turning on your car’s systems.
- Once the system is initialized, you’ll need to open the glove box and remove the two screws that hold it in place. Once those are gone, you can remove the glove box itself by pulling down on one end and then pulling it off completely (be sure not to damage any of its components!).
- Now, remove any unnecessary accessories from inside the glove box (like sunglasses or a phone). You’ll now have an open space inside which you can place your car’s battery!
- Place your battery in this space and screw back in place (if necessary). Finally, reattach all of your accessories back into their places!
