Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphic editor that lets you create illustrations and graphics. You can import fonts into Illustrator by selecting them from the File menu and then clicking the Import button. When you import a font, Illustrator creates a new file called “Fonts.ai” in your project’s folder. This file contains all of the information about the font, such as its name, typeface, and size. To use a font in your Illustrator drawing or graphic design project, first open Fonts.ai in your text editor of choice and then select the font you want to use from the list of options on the left side of the window. If you want to save your changes to Fonts.ai so that they apply to all future projects, click the Save As button on the right side of the window and then name your new font “Fonts.”
