There are a few things you can do to get a title for an impounded car.
- Go to the impound lot and ask the attendant what the car’s title is.
- If the car is registered in another state, go to that state’s DMV and ask them to look up the title for the car.
- If all of these steps don’t work, call a tow truck and have them take the car to a nearby body shop so that they can fix it up and issue you a new title.
