If you’re like most people, you probably use Photoshop to create beautiful graphics and photos. But if you’re like me, you also use it to focus stack images. A focus stack is a technique used in photography to improve the clarity of an image by stacking multiple images together so that each one is focused on a specific point. By stacking images this way, you can improve the clarity of your image by making all the pixels in the stack target one specific pixel. To create a focus stack in Photoshop, first open up your photo editor and select all of the images that you want to include in your stack. Then click on the “Create Stack” button and give your stack a name. I call my stack “Focus Stack 1.” Now that your focusstack is created, it’s time to start stacking images! To start stacking images, click on the “Stack” button and select all of the images that you want to include in your stack. Then click on the “Start Stack” button. When you start stacking images, Photoshop will automatically place them into order based on their file size. So if there are several photos with large files sizes at the bottom of your stack, then those photos will be placed at the bottom of yourstack when you start stacking them. However, if there are only small files sizes at the top of yourstack then those photos will be placed at the top of yourstack when you start stacking them. Once all of the photos have been placed into their correct stacks, then click on “End Stack” to finish creating your focusstack!
