If you’re like most people, you use Photoshop to edit photos, create graphics and logos, and more. But did you know that you can also use it to draw lines? In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to do just that. First things first: open up Photoshop and create a new document. We’ll be using a 8x10 inch canvas for this tutorial, so make sure your document size is set to that size or larger. Next, let’s start by selecting the Pen tool (P). Now that we have the Pen tool selected, we need to make sure our foreground and background colors are set to black and white respectively. To do this, click on the Foreground color swatch in the toolbar and then select white from the list of options that pops up. Click on the Background color swatch in the toolbar and then select black from the list of options that pops up. Now that our colors are set, it’s time to start drawing! First thing we’ll want to do is draw a line down the middle of our canvas. To do this, start by clicking anywhere inside of the black border surrounding your canvas (as shown in image 1). Then drag your mouse cursor towards the bottom-right corner of your canvas (as shown in image 2), release your mouse button when you reach that corner, and Photoshop will automatically create a line connecting those two points (as shown in image 3). Next thing we’ll want to do is add some detail to our line. To do this, click on your line once it’s been created (as shown in image 4) and then click on the Edit menu option located at the top-left corner of your screen (as shown in image 5).
