When drawing an arrow in Photoshop, always use the left-hand side of the keyboard to draw the arrowhead and the shaft. The following steps will help you draw an arrow in Photoshop CC 2018:
- Choose File > New > Arrow.
- Enter a name for your new arrow and click OK.
- In the Arrow Properties panel, set the following properties: a) Type a short description of your new arrow (e.g., “A simplearrow designed for easy drawing”) b) Width (in pixels) - This is how much space is given to each side of your arrow’s shaft, or “head”. The wider the width, the more detail you’ll be able to include in your arrow’s design. c) Height (in pixels) - This is how high up your arrow’s shaft you want it to be visible (or “visible at eye level”). d) Style - Choose one of three options: a basic straight line style, a curved line style, or a wave-like style. e) Click OK to create your new arrow and close the Properties panel.
