If you want to digitize a drawing in Illustrator, there are a few things you need to do first. Open the file in Illustrator and select the object you want to digitize. Click on the “Drawing Tools” tab and select “Digitize.” You’ll see the options for digitizing your drawing. The first option is to choose how much of the image you want to digitize. You can either choose a specific area or select “All.” The second option is what type of file you want to create. You can either choose a PDF or an AI file. The third option is how large of a file you want it to be. If you’re just going to print out your drawing, then make sure that “Print Size” is set at “Small.” If you’re going to save it electronically, then make sure that “File Size” is set at “Large.” The fourth option is where you’ll save your file. You can either choose a specific folder or let Illustrator create a new folder for your file. The fifth and final option is what type of compression you want your file to have.
