If you’re using Messenger as your primary communication tool, it’s important to keep up with the latest updates. But sometimes you may need to delete updates manually in order to save space or because they’ve become outdated. Here’s how to do it:
- Open Messenger and sign in.
- Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen (the one that says " Updates “).
- Scroll down and click on the “Deleting updates” link at the bottom of the page.
- Type in a few details about why you want to delete updates, such as whether you think they’re outdated or not worth keeping around. Then click on the “Delete” button.
- Messenger will ask if you want to keep any of the updated files around, and then it’ll start deleting them automatically. If everything goes according to plan, you’ll eventually see a message saying that all updates have been deleted and that you need to re-download them if you want them installed again!
