If you’re like most people, you probably use Instagram to keep track of your work and ideas. But if you’re a journalist, you might also use the app to post drafts of your stories and articles. But deleting stories and drafts on Instagram can be tricky. Here’s how to do it:
- Open Instagram and sign in.
- Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen (the ones that look like a check mark). This will take you to a menu where you can select “Delete story.”
- Type in what you want to delete (e.g., “Draft 1,” “Draft 2”), and hit “delete.”
- If everything goes according to plan, Instagram will ask you if you want to save the story or draft for later review. Choose “save” and then close Instagram.
