If you’re like most people, you probably use Instagram to keep track of your work and ideas. But if you’re a journalist, you might also use the app to post drafts of your stories and articles. But deleting stories and drafts on Instagram can be tricky. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open Instagram and sign in.
  2. Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen (the ones that look like a check mark). This will take you to a menu where you can select “Delete story.”
  3. Type in what you want to delete (e.g., “Draft 1,” “Draft 2”), and hit “delete.”
  4. If everything goes according to plan, Instagram will ask you if you want to save the story or draft for later review. Choose “save” and then close Instagram.
