If you’re a Gmail user, you know that spam is a big problem. It’s one of the reasons why Gmail is one of the most popular email services on the planet. But deleting spam mail can be difficult, and sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. Here are some tips to help you delete spam mail from your Gmail account:
- Open your Gmail account and click on the three lines in the top left corner of your screen (the blue bar). This will show you a list of all your messages. On the right side of this list, you’ll see a list of messages that have been sent to you recently. The messages in this list will have been marked with an orange flag, which means that they were sent by someone who has recently been using your account and is likely not spam.
- To delete a message from this list, click on it and then select “Delete.” This will take you to a confirmation page where you’ll need to enter some information about why you want to delete the message. After clicking on “Delete,” your message will be deleted from your account and won’t be able to be received again for future use.
- If deleting a message from this list doesn’t work for you or if it’s just taking too long, try using one of these other methods:
a) Type “help” into Google search and then click on “delete email” under “Search results.” This will take you to a page where you can choose how long you want to wait before deleting the email (you can also choose whether or not to create an archive for the email). b) Click on “manage my emails” in the top left corner of your screen and then select “spam blocker.” c) Click on “delete” under “message types.” d) Type “spamhaus” into Google search and then click on “delete email.”
