If you want to delete a message from your iPhone or iPad, there are a few different ways to go about it.

  1. Open the Messages app and find the message you want to delete. Tap on it to open it in the main Messages window.
  2. Swipe left or right until you see the Delete button at the bottom of the screen. Tap on it to open the Delete Message dialog box.
  3. In the Delete Message dialog box, tap on the blue trash can icon to start deleting your message. If you want to keep a copy of your message for later, tap on the Copy button instead. ..
