If you’re like most people, you probably use chatbots to communicate with your customers. Chatbots are computer programs that can act as a virtual assistant, providing answers to questions or providing feedback on products or services. Chatbots are becoming more and more popular, and there are a few things you need to know if you want to create one of your own. Here’s how:

  1. You need a chatbot account. If you don’t have one, create one now! Once you have an account, set up your chatbot by creating a topic in the chatbot’s settings and selecting the type of chatbot (phone or web). You can also find the settings for your chatbot in the app’s preferences.
  2. You need a platform. If you’re using Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp, those platforms offer built-in bots that work with just about any phone or device. If you’re using another messaging app, check out our guide on how to create a chatbot on that platform.
  3. You need some code! Once you’ve created your bot’s codebase and set up its environment, it’s time to start coding! To get started, visit our online course on building chatbots with Python or learn from our online course on building bots with NodeJS. Once you’ve coded your bot, it’s time to test it out! To do that, visit our online course on testing chatbots and follow the instructions there.
