If you want to delete a family tree on Ancestry, there are a few things you need to know. First, you’ll need to create an account and password. Once you have an account, you can then use the “Delete Family Tree” button on the left-hand side of the main Ancestry screen. Next, select the family tree you want to delete from your list of ancestors. You can either select all of your ancestors or just a specific ancestor. Once you’ve selected your ancestor, click on the “Delete” button. You’ll be asked to confirm deletion before it happens. If everything goes according to plan, Ancestry will email you a confirmation message and will also remove the ancestor from your list of ancestors in their database. If something goes wrong and your ancestor is still listed in Ancestry’s database but not deleted, please contact us so we can help correct any errors!
