First, open the image that you want to crop. Next, select the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) and draw a rectangle around the area of the image that you want to keep. Make sure that the selection is closed by clicking on the small black cross in the top-left corner of the selection. Now, go to Edit > Crop Image… The Cropping Options dialog box will open.
