But did you know that you can also crop images in Illustrator? In this article, we’ll show you how to crop an image in Illustrator using the basic tools and techniques. First, open the image that you want to crop. Next, select the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) and draw a rectangle around the area of the image that you want to keep. Make sure that the selection is closed by clicking on the small black cross in the top-left corner of the selection. Now, go to Edit > Crop Image… The Cropping Options dialog box will open. In this dialog box, make sure that both Width and Height are set to 100%. Then, click on OK. The cropped image will now appear in front of the original image.
