If you’re like most people, you probably use Adobe Illustrator to create graphics for your website, brochures, or other projects. But what if you want to crop an image? Here’s how to do it in Illustrator:

  1. Open the image you want to crop.
  2. Select the object or objects you want to keep and deselect everything else. (If the object has a border, make sure it’s selected before deselecting anything else.)
  3. Click on the “Crop” button in the toolbar (or press C).
  4. In the “Crop Options” dialog box that pops up, make sure “Keep Aspect Ratio” is checked and then click on OK.
  5. If you want to save your cropped image with a different name than the original, enter it in the “File Name” field and click on OK. ..
