If you’re like most people, you probably use Photoshop to create outlines and graphics. But if you’re new to the program, there are a few things you should know about creating outlines in Photoshop.
- Start by creating a new document, called an outline. This is a basic document that will help you plan your layout and create graphics.
- In the left column of the main window, click on the pencil icon (the three lines in the bottom-left corner of the window). This will open a menu that allows you to select different types of outlines: dashed lines, solid lines, or curves.
- To create a dashed line outline, click on one of the dashed lines in the left column and drag it to the right edge of your document. You can also use the arrow keys to move it around.
- To create a solid line outline, click on one of the solid lines in the left column and drag it to the right edge of your document. You can also use the arrow keys to move it around.
- To create a curve outline, click on one of the curves in the left column and drag it to either side of your document (or up or down if you want). You can also use arrows or mouse clicks to change how curved each line is (for example, if you want them all curved at once).
