There are many ways to create guides in Photoshop, but the easiest way is to use the Pathfinder. To create a guide, first select the area you want to guide and then click on the Pathfinder icon (it looks like a cross with a square in its center). The Pathfinder will open and you will see two options: Guides and Paths. To create a guide, click on Guides. This will open the Guide Options dialog box. In this dialog box, you can choose how wide your guide should be (in pixels), how thick it should be (in pixels), and whether or not it should be transparent. You can also choose whether or not your guide should be locked (so that it won’t move when you edit the image). Click on OK to close the Guide Options dialog box. Now, when you edit your image, your guide will stay put! ..
