In Photoshop, you can create a clipping mask to help protect your work from being ruined by stray pixels. A clipping mask is created by selecting the area of your image that you want to protect and then pressing the command key (or right-click on the image and select “Create Mask”). Once the clipping mask is created, you can use it to prevent any stray pixels from affecting your image. To use the clip mask, select it in your image and then press the command key or right-click on it and select “Edit.” In the Edit dialog box, you’ll see a list of options for editing the clip mask. The options that are most important to you will depend on how important you think that protecting your image is. For example, if you want to protect all of your images in an album, then you’ll want to choose “All Images.” If you only want to protect a specific image in an album, then you’ll want to choose that specific image’s clip mask. Once you’ve edited the clip mask, click OK in the Edit dialog box and then click OK again on the Clip Mask tab in Photoshop’s Preferences window.
