Pitted aluminum is a common sight in the home and office. It’s easy to clean, but be sure to follow these tips to make the process easier:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place aluminum foil on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and let cool.
- Pour 1 cup of cold water into a pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Add 1/2 cup of baking soda and stir until the soda is dissolved. Pour the hot water mixture over the aluminum foil and let it sit for 5 minutes, or until all of the liquid has been absorbed by the aluminum.
- Remove from heat and let cool completely before using.
