Espresso filters are one of the most important pieces of equipment in a coffee shop. They help to remove the grounds and oils from the coffee, and they also help to keep the espresso clean. To clean a espresso filter, you will need: -A plunger -Water -Espresso filter (or any other type of coffee filter) -A cloth or paper towel

  1. Pour water into a pot and bring it to a boil. Add the espresso filter and let it steep for 3 minutes. Remove the filter with a plunger and pour the hot water over it. Let it sit for another minute or two so that all of the water has soaked through the filter.2. Place the cloth or paper towel over one end of the plunger and use your other hand to push down on top of the cloth/paper towel so that it forms a loop.3. Use your plunger to push all of the water out of the Filter (it should be very easy - just make sure not to overdo it).4. Carefully place your new espresso filter back on top of the pot, making sure not to touch any part of it with your hands (other than making sure that everything is properly seated).5. Bring everything back up to room temperature before using again
