If you have earrings that are no longer wearable, it’s time to take them off and clean the holes where they went in. Earring holes can become dirty and filled with earwax, which can make it difficult to put your earrings back on. Here are four easy steps to cleaning your earring holes:
- Wet a cloth or paper towel and wring out the excess water.
- Put the cloth or paper towel over the hole of the earring and push down gently until the cloth or paper towel is fully inserted into the hole. Gently twist and pull out the cloth or paper towel.
- Repeat steps 2-4 for each earring hole. Be sure to use a fresh cloth or paper towel for each step.
- Wipe away any excess moisture with a dry cloth or paper towel, then put your earrings back on and enjoy your clean ears! ..
