  1. Start by taking off any excess skin from around the ear. This will help reduce the amount of dirt and debris that will accumulate on the ear.
  2. Use a mild soap or shampoo to clean the ear canal and surrounding area. Be sure to rinse thoroughly after each use.
  3. Apply a light layer of baking soda or vinegar solution to the inside of each ear drum, using circular motions around the circumference of each drum. Be sure to apply enough solution so that all areas are covered, but avoid over-application or it may cause damage to the drums.
