There are a few things you can do to clean car seat belts before they need to be replaced.
- Remove all of the screws that hold the belt in place. This will allow you to remove the belt and clean it.
- Use a mild soap and water to clean the belt in areas that have been touched recently, such as around the buckle or on the inside of the waistband. Be careful not to get soap on any of the metal parts of the belt!
- Rinse off any excess soap and dry your belt using a paper towel or cloth.
