If you’re ever going to paint or clean the underside of a car, it’s a good idea to do it in stages. First, clean the surface that will be being painted. This can be done with a mild soap and water solution, or a car wash. Next, use a vacuum cleaner to remove any dirt and dust that may have built up on the surface. Be careful not to damage the paintwork. Finally, use a hairdryer to dry the surface completely.
